Application: In combination with a suitable cure system, Si-69 forms covalent bonds between rubbermolecules and the fillers, thus giving the rubber greater tensilstrength, tearing strength, reducedcompression set, increased abrasion resistance and optimized dynamic properties. Si-69 is most suitable toimprove the reinforcing properties of filers containing hydroxyl groups in all unsaturated polymers havingdouble bonds or their blends. Silicas., silicates clays can be used in combination with Si-69 in polymerssuch as NR, IR, SBR, BR, NBR and EPDM.
