Application: As a super promoter for natural rubber and synthetic rubber, and also as a universal promoter for latex, it is a typical representative of dithiocarbamate. Although the critical temperature for vulcanization is low and prone to burning, its activity is not as high as that of the promoter PZ when used alone. Compared with ammonium dithiocarbamate, it has poorer activity but improved operational safety. When the rubber material is vulcanized at 120-135 ºC, the speed limit is fast, the vulcanization temperature increases, the vulcanization flatness becomes narrower, and it is easy to produce over bowl. Therefore, the vulcanization temperature should generally not exceed 125 ºC. A small amount of accelerator TMTD should be added to the rubber material containing this product DM, Anti scorching agent or anti-aging agent MB can improve the storage performance of rubber materials and delay the start of vulcanization. If used in combination with ammonium dithiocarbamate or amine accelerators, the vulcanization rate can be greatly improved.
This product needs to be activated with zinc oxide, but adding a small amount of fatty acids can improve the mechanical properties of the vulcanized rubber. This product is a good active agent for thiazole and sulfonamide accelerators. It has a strong activation effect on butyl rubber materials containing accelerators MBT, TMTD, or M and TTD, which can greatly shorten their vulcanization time. It can also be used for EPDM rubber, but the activation effect is not as strong as for butyl rubber.
This product is also used as a non water soluble promoter for latex, with little effect on the stability of the latex. It is generally used in combination with water-soluble accelerators (such as ammonium or sodium salts of thioamino acid) or with other water-insoluble accelerators (such as other zinc salts of dithioamino acid) to increase the vulcanization rate. When used as the second promoter of thiazole based accelerators in latex, the resulting product has good aging performance and is suitable for white or bright colored products, as well as transparent products. Mainly used for manufacturing latex products, it can also be used for manufacturing medical products, adhesive tapes, and self sulfurization products. The general dosage is 0.1-1 part in dry rubber material and 0.5-1 part in latex material.
Packaging and storage: Plastic woven bags, paper plastic composite bags, kraft paper bags, etc. lined with polyethylene film packaging, each bag weighing 25kg. It should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated place. Packaged products should be protected from direct sunlight and have a shelf life of 2 years.
