Usage: Antioxidant is both a chain break inhibitor and a metal chelating agent. It has excellent resistance to heat aging, weather aging, and harmful metals such as copper and manganese. It has UV protection function in styrene butadiene rubber. Used for manufacturing tire cords, cables, elastic tapes, and other industrial rubber products, latex products (such as medical supplies, leather pastes), etc. This product is one of the least polluting varieties among amine anti-aging agents, but it still has the disadvantage of turning red when exposed to light or oxidants.
Dosage: The dosage is 0.2 to 1 part, exceeding 2 parts will cause frosting. This product can be used alone or in combination with other anti-aging agents such as antioxidant MB and antioxidant DOD. When used in combination with anti-aging agents AW and TMQ, the heat resistance effect is significantly improved. It has a significant activating effect on thiazole based accelerators MBT or MBTS. If applied in vulcanization systems composed of such accelerators, the amount of accelerator used can be appropriately reduced. This product is a less toxic variety of amine anti-aging agents.
